Since royalty is the subject, let’s say that supplì is the king of street food.
It is basically fried leftover risotto with a mozzarella hearth (not to be confused with Sicilian arancini!) that delightfully melts in your mouth. It’s as simply as that. And to die for.
Where: supplì at I Marmi in Trastevere are quite famous, queue is almost unavoidable but it’s worth the wait.
